Critical situation
Bangladesh is facing a critical situation at present. Its the time to be united. But where is our unity? Have we forgotten 1971? Its painful for us when we notice two big parties, AL & BNP, are nonstop rebuking each other on the case of bomb blast & JMB connection. Very funny! Shame! Actually poitical leaders want power at any cost. Perhaps most of the time they forget the condition of general people who really want peace. Public dont want any damage of country. They dont want power...lots of money....wealth. They want only to lead a happy life.
Anyway! We love Bangladesh. We hope to be united again as 1971. Dear political leaders! Would you please beside us?

As a bangladeshi I am very much frustrated for the present situation of this country. What's the future of Bangladesh? What's the job of govrenment? Why're terrors not arrested?

A Letter From Nazzina
There is a SOLAR storm going on, so AVOID sun as much as possible for next 2 weeks!!!
this is important because sun will release flares which will cause radiation coming down to earth, in every area where sun will shine.
this radiation is harmful for health.
So AVOID SUN as much as possible
dont use Cell Phones unless its important and emergency
this is no joke because I just worked on a report today.
Please pass or tell about this Solar info to your friends and families.
thanks ..................

Bomb blast.....failed security
I was astonished hearing the news of bomb blast yesterday. About 400 bombs blasted at a time whole country. How is it possible? Where is RAB, Police & DB.........Intelligence and law enforcing agencies? Now it is clear to us that our national security system is seriously injured. Immediately it needs hard & fast treatment.

I miss you.......
I am looking for you
Morning till night,
Night till morning.
Sun shine touches me
I mistake its you,
Hearing birds’ song
I hear your call,
Rain drops makes me
I feel your warm kiss,
Vast blue sky, kites’ fly
Cloud and cloud,
I am looking for you
In crowd.
Walking in a moonlit night
Speaking with stars,
Feeling gentle breeze-touch
I miss you much.

City Life
Destination less journey,
Full of anxiety, full of envy,
An aimless race as life.....
What is city life?
No rest, no peace,
Just run and run.......just.....run.
Sun rises, rain drops
Birds are singing....but
No time to see....
No time to be wet.......
No time to listen............
Where is time?
Running beside bus, track, rickshaw
Facing traffic jams....jam...jam.
Bill of water,
Bill of gas..........electricity..........
Captures heart.........soul.....aaaaaaah.......
But, no.........no.......water.....gas......
No electricity.....dark ....dark life.....City life!!!
Full of anxiety, full of envy,
An aimless race as life.....
What is city life?
No rest, no peace,
Just run and run.......just.....run.

Congratulations Matiur Rahman!
I am very much glad to know the name of the winners of Magsaysay Award 2005. Famous journalist Matiur Rahman who is the editor of daily Prothom-alo is one of the winners of this award. It’s not only a great honor for him but also the whole nation. Working magnificently though various public welfare fields, writing against all black & dark of society and speaking for making glorious nation Matiur Rahman tries to enrich our country. So he is the most suitable person of getting this award. That’s why selection committee can be thanked.
Perhaps Journalist Matiur Rahman will get about 32 lac taka for winning this award. Now a lot of people think- How will he spend it? It’s his personal affair. But I think the man who is working for the welfare of nation and spending himself & his whole life for Bangladesh, he will spend his award in such a way that our poor sweetest motherland will be happy.
I hope Matiur Rahman will continue his journey of truth. Thanks him again.

Punishment on schoolboys
It’s a common scene of our schools that children are cruelly punished there. Most of the school teachers like to beat them mercilessly. They apply various techniques on students as punishment, such as, to hurt ear or belly or fingers, to stand by one leg, to bow down under bench etc etc. All these useless activities often hamper a child’s both mental & physical health. As a result broken minded generation may be got.
Recently it has been found a heartrending example ‘Dipu’. He was only 12 years schoolboy of class four. This innocent boy was killed by one of his teachers through beating.
To err is human. So it’s natural that a student may make mistakes during study. Teachers should identify the causes of mistakes and make the students understood it. Schoolboys or girls are not sinners or crimers as they would be punished such an unwise way. If a teacher advises students with proper care, they must obey him/ her. So no need of such physical punishment.

From a national newspaper......
"After brutally unleashing their fury on photojournalists, some members of the National Security Intelligence (NSI) have exposed the poverty of their intelligence. This they have done by framing cases against 20 journalists. What a shame! It is them who should find themselves in the dock for failing to do their duty. Instead, they try to prove that they did the right thing by physically assaulting the journalists who were carrying on their professional duty. What was the photojournalists' crime? They took pictures of the NSI office's boqndary wall smeared by writing and posters on it. This drew the wrath of the NSI members, not the writing and fastening of posters on the wall. Was it an act of threat to national security? For argument's sake let us accept that taking picture of the wall is not legally approved, but does it mean that the members of the NSI would resort to physical violence against the 'offenders'? They have no business to hand summary punishment to such offenders. It is the court that is entitled to decide the matter and award punishment, if any."

Rain Comes...
We are passing rainy season now. Its really charming to enjoy the dropping sound of rain, more interesting is showering! In Rajshahi rain is rare comparing other districts. So when it comes people try to use it properly. Specially children play football on ground bathing. My exam is running at full speed! As I have to deprive the wish to be wet in rain afraid of fever!

Politics is a funny game!
The recent developments in our country's politics are really funny. It is very clear now that a politician can do anything for himself. At present the definition of politics is " Do only for yourself and give up the wife if necessary". General Ershad is a 'role model' of modern politics! He has amply proved the changed definition of politics!
Drama and politics
Can any one tell me the similarity between drama and politics? I think that under the present condition in Bangladesh both are full of falsehood! Drama is a combination of fictitious attitude of actors and actress. On the other hand the politicians display such attitudes when it is needed in the field of politics. Drama gives recreation to the audience. Politics gives not only recreation but also wealth and power, to the politicians only. We, the public, try to share but fail again and again!

Rape// The crime
Have you ever seen a newspaper without the news of a rape even for a single day? Unfortunately I have failed to get such a newspaper. Moreover the number of this type of news is increasing alarmingly. So at present there is no hope to get that type newspaper, isn’t it, really? Actually everything depends on us. Because man can do anything if he wants. Then the satisfactory answer may be gotten.
What’s the cause of a rape? I think the main cause of rape is mental disease. Porn magazines & movies create this disease. Moreover, tendency of taking revenge on a woman occurs rape. Lack of morality in the youth is one of the causes.
It’s our irony of fate that judgment for a rape is rare now. In most of the cases most the criminals are powerful than the victims & our rotten society always supports powerful person. So most of the victims get one-eyed judgments. As a result, criminals get inspiration.
Is it possible to prevent rape? Of course possible! If law is used properly, criminals don’t get any political support, victims get wise judgment & overall men respect women from heart, then the term ‘Rape’ must be vanished from our society someday & we are waiting for such a bright day.
